1 | Preparing the Home
Statistics show that a professionally staged home will sell for more money in less time and therefore we include this service for all our listings. We hire a professional stager and provide you with a free consultation and “showcase” staging service to ensure your home is presented in the best possible way. Accredited Staging® Professionals use a proven set of guidelines and do a thorough inspection to evaluate the home’s market appeal indoors and out. The initial consultation includes a room-by- room walk through to identify all possible issues regarding cleanliness, clutter, repairs, and furniture re-arrangement. The stager will then provide a written report with some possible todos. Once your list date has been set, the stager will return a couple days prior to “Showcase” stage your home (should you decide you want the service). The stager may bring in art, bedding, towels, pillows, vases etc. They will also move and arrange furniture accordingly.

Open houses are always promoted and advertised on numerous websites such as Realtor.ca, Century21.ca, Jamiesells.ca, youraddress.com, vieirateam.com etc. We also put out “Open House” signs well in advance to stir up interest.
Agent Open houses are held on a predetermined day for your neighborhood. This open house allows agents to preview your property for their prospective buyers and gives us a chance to get feedback on price and décor. Agent open houses are normally held in the mornings between 10-12pm and generally only done at the beginning of the listing.
